Prixview - Saudia Arabian GP 2025
Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri take their fight under the lights in Jeddah.
The Circuit
The Corniche Circuit in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is the fastest street circuit in the world.
With narrow walls and very little runoff, Jeddah is a yellow flag waiting to happen. Incidents are common and some sections are particularly dangerous.
The Lap
Jeddah opens on its only true straight which leads into a sharp left-hander, kicking off a combo of twelve nearly non-stop corners in sector one.
A long hairpin kicks off a middle sector that ends with Jeddah’s first and shortest DRS zone.
The fastest and final sector is almost entirely flat out except for the final corner. The most conventional overtaking opportunity will come in the braking zone for Turn 1 following the start/finish straight.
Top of Mind
The McLaren duel at the front. Oscar won the last round but Lando still holds a slight lead in the standings.
Max and George are not far behind. A win for either this week could vault them to first place.
Where is Ferrari? Mercedes is comfortably in second with Red Bull (mostly Max) 22 pts back and Ferrari 36 pts back in fourth. Will their upgrades start to deliver results soon?
Odds and Predictions
The McLarens are projected neck and neck ahead of the rest with the edge to Lando Norris.
George has been top five in every race this season and could be due for a win soon.
Kimi Antonelli could be a decent podium bet as well. He has longer odds as a rookie but has been steadily improving.
